When developing individualized treatment, the PCS team prides themselves on being empathetic and respectful of each participant's condition; attentive to the individual's personal needs; and culturally aware of the different values traditions, languages, lifestyles and expectations of each participant. The highly personalized treatment offered in a compressed time frame makes it possible for PCS participants to spend less time in treatment and to move on with their life. The bulk of the PCS Intensive Model treatment consists of individualized counseling, combining the individual therapy with couple, family and group therapy. Throughout the patient's stay in the program, his or her therapist can remain involved, working closely with our team. This unique combination has proven to maximize patient growth.

Proven Techniques

Psychological Counseling Services provides the treatment needed and the support patients deserve as they confront their mental and behavioral health problems, through:

• PCS Intensive Model programs integrate the skills and styles of our professional staff of therapists and deliver a powerful balance of support and encouragement through one- to five-week intensive outpatient programs.
• The Institute for Professional Wellness at PCS assists health care professionals in establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with their clients.
• The New Hope Educational Foundation provides a safe environment for clergy and their families to deal with important emotional and spiritual issues unique to the ministry.
